Established by Abbu in 2002, the
Swamini Sarees is known for its efforts to revive the Paithani sarees trend with

The saree expert in Abbu has always been respected by one and all. He became
the fatherly figure for weavers for his support and trust that still exists. The

Previously, Abbu’s journey from
his beginnings in the saree business to working in other saree stores
throughout Pune was duly read. There was one dream he never forgot – his love
for sarees and starting his own saree business that can be a landmark in the
city and outside. He managed to get the much-needed funds to start the
business. His success story thus began.
Before & during the 90s,
Paithanis sarees were never high in popularity. They were termed outdated and
had little demand amongst buyers. Abbu, however, used his experience and
knowledge to his advantage. He was adept at guiding new Paithani designs to
weavers, show combinations and suggesting ways to create them. His guidance helped
since few weavers knew the process or had design knowledge. His years of
experience also helped Abbu get substantial customers. He informed them
regarding his new saree venture. His new saree selling in Pune began from his
home.
But, the fire in Abbu towards his
saree business and love for sarees burned more in his belly. He wanted to
establish a showroom that represented his dreams. From this fire, Swamini
Sarees – Sadiyon Ki Maharani came into existence in 2002, first in Shagun Chowk,
Pune, on the 1st floor of a building. He wanted the name to reflect
the women's hearts. Of the several names suggested by Raviraj Publicity, Pune,
Swamini Sarees appealed to him the most. The showroom’s logo represented our
culture well.
The response got here was
overwhelming. Nothing stopped buyers from visiting the place and getting the
sarees they wanted. There was a saree for everyone at Swamini. The footfalls
kept increasing. It was time to move to a larger place to offer even more
variety of sarees. They shifted to the present showroom on Kumthekar Road,
Pune. Raviraj Publicity generated advertisements that worked for the
established brand. This location is now a landmark amongst saree lovers.
Swamini Sarees – Sadiyon Ki
Maharani at Kumthekar Road, Pune, is now a byword for exquisite sarees. A floor
is dedicated to comprehensive wedding shopping. What makes this showroom stand
